The General Trias Elite Bachelors (GTEB) is both a group and a community center for bisexual and gay individuals in the City of General Trias, Cavite. Our group is inclusive, welcoming those who identify as bisexual man, gay man, bi-curious man, or who are questioning their sexual orientation. We strive to provide a safe and nurturing space where everyone can feel accepted and valued.
GTEB was formerly known as General Trias Bi Brothers and General Trias Bi Group, but because of some conflicts, it was renamed to differentiate it formally from the two. Regardless of the changes of the name, the group, now a community center, aims to be a leading and respected organization in General Trias, Cavite, renowned for connecting and supporting bisexual and gay individuals. We envision a community where everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, can flourish, feel empowered, and contribute positively to society.
Our Mission:
- To create a supportive and inclusive community in General Trias, Cavite, for bisexual and gay individuals.
- To foster an environment where members can flourish and feel empowered.
- To encourage members to contribute positively to society.
- To strengthen connections among members to promote a sense of belonging.
- To advocate for acceptance and equality for all, regardless of sexual orientation.
It was founded in February 2020 with the aim of creating a closer group of friends within the city—a group where individuals can feel they are not alone in the city. The group became inactive due to the pandemic, but the group chat remained active for the members. It was renamed after two years to avoid conflict with a previous group that existed before. Additionally, it was successfully relaunched, but due to conflicting interests, the group was renamed again after another two years to General Trias Elite Bachelors to better reflect and revive the original vision and mission of the group..
It was re-established not with the purpose of creating group chats, but rather to form a real community that caters to those who fall within the sexual orientation spectrum. With the establishment of its office, which aims to be a safe space for members who need someone to talk to or just a place to relax, the group's commitment to its purpose was realized.
The silhouette of men in the center represents the bachelors, with the highlighted figures symbolizing the elite bachelors—gay and bisexual men who are thriving in society. The green leaves at the bottom further emphasize growth, and the inclusion of the bisexual symbol denotes the group's identity as part of the LGBTQIA+ community
