On the night of February 15, 2025, General Trias Elite Bachelors (GTEB) took a bold step beyond the usual Valentine’s Day celebrations and ventured into something different—something thrilling. Blackout Valentines was more than just a party; it was an experience that left an impact, an electrifying evening that blended fun, connection, and meaningful awareness.
With 42 attendees—both familiar faces and exciting newcomers—the night was proof that this community thrives on passion and the thrill of something different. While we missed some from our previous events, the energy in the room never wavered. The connections formed, the memories made, and the excitement in the air proved that Blackout Valentines was an event to remember.
A Night of Excitement and Connection
Held at Federal KTV Bar, Pasong Camachile 1, the event ran from 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM, packed with activities that fueled the night’s excitement. From videoke warm-ups to the much-anticipated Blackout Party Mode, the energy only intensified as the hours passed. As the venue dimmed into darkness, illuminated only by flickering lights and glowstick bracelets, everyone embraced the moment—letting loose, dancing, and making new connections in an atmosphere of mystery and desire.
The unique Glowstick Bracelet System added an exciting twist to socializing, making it easier to navigate the crowd and spark connections:
- 🔵 Blue – Tops
- 🔴 Red – Bottoms
- 🟡 Yellow– Versa
- Other Colors / No Bracelet – Taken (friendship only, no flirting!)
It was more than just a party—it was an evening of self-expression, a celebration of individuality and confidence, all within the safe and inclusive space that GTEB prides itself on creating.
More Than Just a Celebration
While the night was undoubtedly thrilling, Blackout Valentines wasn’t just about indulgence—it was about empowerment and responsibility. A huge shout-out goes to Rex, GTEB's dedicated Wellness Officer, for spearheading the FREE HIV Seminar & Testing as a pre-event initiative, in collaboration with the City of General Trias Social Hygiene Clinic.
This seminar set the tone for what we stand for as a community—awareness, responsibility, and breaking barriers. By providing this opportunity, we sent a powerful message: empowerment starts with knowledge, action, and a stigma-free community that supports one another. At GTEB, we advocate for education over fear, action over silence, and empowerment over discrimination.

Looking Back, Looking Forward
We acknowledge that Blackout Valentines wasn’t perfect—some were left bitin, some moments could have been smoother. But if there’s one thing we’re sure of, it’s that this was only the beginning. The lessons learned from this event will fuel us to create an even better experience next time.
To everyone who attended, participated, and brought their energy—thank you. Your presence made all the difference. For those who missed it, don’t worry—bigger and better things are coming your way.
The darkness may have faded, but the memories we created remain. Here’s to more nights of passion, connection, and purpose. Until the next one, GTEB family! 💔✨
