GTEB Organizational Structure Revisions: Strengthening Leadership and Community Growth

As part of the General Trias Elite Bachelors (GTEB) commitment to continuous growth and development, the group has implemented key revisions in its organizational structure. These changes are designed to enhance efficiency, improve governance, and ensure that GTEB continues to serve its members and the community effectively.

Updated GTEB Organizational Structure

To strengthen leadership and streamline responsibilities, the revised structure now positions the
Founder at the top, who also assumes the roles of Director and Treasurer of the group. This ensures a clear oversight of the organization’s vision, finances, and long-term direction.

Positioned to the left after the Founder, before the President, is the Board of Trustees, which acts as an advisory body, providing guidance and accountability in decision-making. While the Board does not directly intervene in day-to-day operations, it plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organization's objectives remain aligned with its mission and values.

Directly below the Founder is the President, who serves as the executive leader responsible for overseeing the internal and external affairs of GTEB. The President ensures that the group's vision is implemented effectively and works closely with both the internal and external affairs divisions.

Under the President, the organization remains divided into two key divisions:

  • Vice President for Internal Affairs
  • Vice President for External Affairs

Each division oversees specific units that contribute to GTEB’s overall mission and operations.

Internal Affairs Division

The Vice President for Internal Affairs now leads three distinct units, each with defined roles to maintain order, engagement, and governance within the group:

  • Peace & Order Head
    • This unit serves as the judicial body of GTEB, ensuring discipline and security within the group.
    • Under this head, there are two officers: Peace & Order Officer 1 and Peace & Order Officer 2, responsible for enforcing policies, maintaining order, and handling security during events.
  • Engagement Head
    • Focuses on strengthening internal relationships, communication, and active member participation.
    • Supports member involvement through activities, discussions, and updates.
    • Two officers, Engagement Officer 1 and Engagement Officer 2, assist in these responsibilities.
  • Legal & Membership Head (Formerly Recruitment Head)
    • This new unit acts as the Legislative body of GTEB, ensuring that rules remain effective in achieving the group’s mission and vision.
    • Responsible for verifying memberships, determining eligibility for joining or rejoining, and reviewing group policies.
    • Two officers, Legal Officer and Membership Officer, assist in overseeing the group’s regulations and membership processes.

External Affairs Division

The Vice President for External Affairs manages the following units, each dedicated to outreach, events, and community initiatives:

  • Events Head
    • Organizes and oversees all GTEB events, ensuring smooth execution and member participation.
    • Two officers, Events Officer 1 and Events Officer 2, support in event planning, logistics, and coordination.
  • Wellness & Formation Head

    • Focuses on the personal growth, development, and well-being of members through various programs.
    • Two officers, Wellness Officer and Formation Officer, assist in implementing initiatives that promote mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
  • Charity Head

    • Leads GTEB’s charitable efforts and community outreach projects.
    • Two officers, Charity Officer 1 and Charity Officer 2, support in organizing donation drives, volunteer activities, and partnerships with external organizations.

Why These Matters?

These structural updates were made to ensure that GTEB operates at its best—both for the members and the community it serves. By clearly defining roles and responsibilities, the group can:

  • Improve leadership accountability.
  • Strengthen the recruitment and membership validation process.
  • Ensure that rules and policies remain aligned with GTEB’s mission.
  • Enhance engagement and participation among members.
  • Increase efficiency in event planning, wellness programs, and charitable activities.
